How to Join

Anybody interested in shooting is welcome to join the club as a probationary member. However, we do first need to know a bit about you.

1. You'll need a letter from two people who know you, simply confirming that you are who you claim to be and that you are of good character.
2. You will also have to be proposed by a full member of the club. If you already know one, that's no problem — if not, one of our committee members will propose you once we've satisfied ourselves about you.
3. You'll be required to sign a declaration stating that you are not prohibited from being in possession of firearms or ammunition.
4. We'll need four passport-sized photographs of each prospective member, which can be emailed if you have them on file.
5. You will normally be a probationary member for at least 12 shoots. During this time we assess your level of commitment and general character, and base the decision on full membership on this.

Once you are a full member, you can normally apply for your own Firearms Certificate if you wish.
